Internship for Video Communication Engineering 
       　
We are looking for an intern to analyze and study very-high-speed video 
commun 
ication systems. The applicant should be able to assess, simulate, study, 
and   
refine the video systems. This position provides a great opportunity for the 
c 
areer development for aspiring engineering students in a well-known video 
comp 
any. 
       　
Required Skills: 
      Knowledge of various video compression standards like H.263/4/5 and/or 
MPEG1/2/4 video codec 
      Both qualitative and quantitative measurement of video quality 
      Some basic knowledge of the channel or traffic characteristic of 
wireless or wired network with bandwidth and latency constraint 
      Some basic knowledge of the media access control (MAC) for wireless or 
wired networks 
      Good programming and debugging skills in C/C++ and Matlab 
      Good verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and 
English 
      Experience in the following as well is beneficial but not required: 
      Hardware design method
